Nexsys Industries Consulting specialises in regional and place-based sustainable development practices and solutions, working in partnership with proponents and communities to optimise and share benefits and collaborative practice, leading to healthy and sustainable growth.

Experience
Scott has 17 years of experience in the Victorian Public Service across agriculture and biosecurity, emergency services, regional growth and collaborative innovation, implementing regional growth strategies and facilitating business transition and growth, across the agriculture, renewable energy and regional development sectors.
As part of his work in regional transition and growth, Scott co-led the Gippsland Smart Specialisation initiative, building on the regions existing strengths and seeking to bring together industry, education and research, community and government sectors to collaborate on innovation. The Gippsland Smart Specialisation initiative is taking the European Union’s evidence-based approach to regional growth and innovation and adapting it for Australian and Gippsland conditions and operating contexts.
Scott uses his systems thinking and practice in organisational and operating contexts in brokering and developing relationships and facilitating the development of new opportunities, collaborative decision making and business development. With a sound base in agriculture, renewable energy, business and community sectors, Nexsys Industries Consulting is well equipped to work into these and other sectors alike, facilitating and leveraging the strengths of our industry and community sectors for growth, harnessing and utilising the support of government, education and research institutions for collaborative action.
